Arsenal have no interest in Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva who has recently been linked with a move to north London, according to El Confidencial’s Kike Marin, who was asked the question on Twitter.

According to Spanish publication AS, Silva is currently at the centre of a three-way battle between ourselves, Chelsea and Manchester United for his services.
Signed from Cruzeiro in January, AS claims that Real Madrid have used up the non-EU quota in their squad and could be open to loaning the Brazilian to the Premier League.
However, Kike states that Arsenal have no interest in the defensive midfielder despite our disappointing result against West Ham United at the weekend which raised further concerns about the strength of our squad.

With three weeks left of the transfer window, we certainly hope Wenger still has plans of strengthening our squad and that those plans are currently in motion.
Despite Marin’s claims, Lucas Silva would be a seriously welcome addition.
