Arsenal have officially announced a new defensive signing, Swedish youngster Kristopher da Graca signing a professional contract with the club today.
Part of the Under-18s at Arsenal, da Graca joined the club last summer. Having just turned 17-years-old last Friday however, he is now eligible for his first professional contract
He arrived from Swedish side Hisingsbacka, and is highly rated at the club. He is unlikely to be a player capable of making the step up to the first team any time soon, but is a fantastic prospect and looks to have the potential to succeed in the Premier League.
Already standing at close to 6’3″, the powerful youngster seems perfectly suited for the rigours of English football. We may be lacking defensive depth at the moment, but things are looking bright for the future.
