Arsenal are among a host of clubs who have pricked up their ears at Laurent Blanc’s latest revelation, with the Paris Saint-Germain boss claiming exits are guaranteed this January, according to the Express.
We have in the past been linked with moves for PSG stars Edinson Cavani and Yohan Cabaye, as well as a number of other players from the Ligue 1 champions.
Most of the potential transfers seemed like mere speculation, but with Blanc’s latest comments it seems like a number of players will be on the move very soon.
“There will certainly be exits out of PSG in the winter market,” said Blanc.
Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi in particular have been heavily linked with moves away from the French giants, with tensions high after the pair were hit with a ban for returning late from the mid season break.
When looking at the players likely to leave PSG this January, I can’t see Arsene Wenger stumping up the cash for any of them. Moves to other clubs may result in a knock on effect however, which could consequently allow us to get our primary targets.
