Arsenal are on alert after reports in Spain suggest that PSG will need to sell a host of star in January including long-term target Julian Draxler (via The Metro).
Arsenal have made a habit of taking advantage of the transfer merry-go-round in recent seasons, particularly when a big player makes a move.
Mesut Özil was signed as result of Gareth Bale’s move to Spain, Alexis Sanchez was signed after FC Barcelona brought in Neymar and now it seems that the Brazilian could help the Gunners yet again.
Reports in Spain suggest that PSG could look to sell a host of stars including long-term Arsenal target Julian Draxler following the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
PSG are currently under investigation by UEFA amid claims they may have broken Financial Fair Play rules.
“We welcome UEFA in our offices with great pleasure. We are very transparent,” said club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi earlier this month.

“I do not want to go into the details of Financial Fair Play, I do not want to explain how we’re going to get money back, how we want to sell.”
Reports in Spain suggest that their plans are to sell several big name players in January with the likes of Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore, Lucas Moura and Kevin Trapp joining Julian Draxler on the transfer list.
It would be really smart of Arsenal to go for Julian Draxler in the January window. He’s an excellent player who would suit the Gunners tremendously well and is the sort of name who may even convince the likes of Mesut Özil and Alexis Sanchez to stay at the club. Probably Özil more than Sanchez but it could happen.
