Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase to sign Barcelona youngster Munir El Haddadi ahead of rivals Chelsea after we made an official approach for the teenager, The Express reports.
El Haddadi found first-team opportunities hard to come by last season with the sensational trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez wreaking havoc across Europe.
The report suggests that Luis Enrique is reluctant to let him go, but our history of poaching Barcelona’s talents will certainly make the Nou Camp hierarchy slightly edgy.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise for us and it his experience could be a huge draw for the likes of El Haddadi who undoubtedly wants to succeed at the highest level.
Despite his obvious talents, it would still surprise many if Arsene Wenger was seriously interested in signing the Barcelona youth product with the amount of youngsters we have emerging through the ranks.
The likes of Serge Gnabry, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Chuba Akpom would all have their growth stunted if another player was positioned in front of them, something Wenger has been completely against in the past.
