Theo Walcott, Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all starred in a video campaign to help kick out homophobia in football.
The Gunners have teamed up with Paddy Power, Stonewall and the Gay Football Supporters’ Network again to help tackle an issue that has failed to be addressed.
The players say something that they can’t change about themselves, Walcott’s comparison with Lewis Hamilton, Arteta’s perfect hair, Santi’s shortness, Giroud’s hunkiness topped off with Chambo’s resemblance to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
Pretty good for a laugh, but it shares a deeper message and promotes an incredible campaign that will hopefully see Rainbow coloured boot laces donned by professional footballers all around the UK.
Rainbow Lace weekend will commence over the 13th/ 14th September, and you can tweet your support using the official hashtag: #RainbowLaces.
