Last year we were linked with a move for Juan Iturbe, but were beaten to the punch by Roma. The Argentine already appears to be unsettled in Italy however, and his agent believes he could make the switch to the Premier League, according to the Express.

We were reportedly monitoring the tricky winger before he made the £22m switch to Roma from Hellas Verona, with Arsene Wenger thought to still be keen.
The Express reports that we could get a second chance at landing the versatile forward however, as his spell in Serie A has not quite gone to plan.
The 21-year-old has spent some time sidelined with injury, and has struggled since his big money move. His agent claims he will more than likely stay with Roma next season, but claims if he does decide to move then there are two teams in England – believed to be Arsenal and Liverpool – who would be willing to stump up the cash.
“I think he’ll stay at Roma next year,” Iturbe’s agent Gustavo Mascardi said.

“[But] there are two teams in England who want him and would be willing to pay the fee that Roma did for him.
“Iturbe is a champion who has had a difficult season due to injury.
“It was not well understood by the technical staff and that did not give him confidence.
“Will he leave? There are very good proposals from England for him.
“We’ll see what Iturbe and Roma decide.”
On first glance we don’t appear to be weak in the wide forward positions, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all fighting for a spot. One or two injuries however, and we would have to resort to deploying players out of position, and could potentially leave ourselves short in other areas.
There may be better options out there, but Iturbe is definitely a top quality option and has a bright future ahead of him.
