We are reportedly set for a summer raid on Southampton, with two Saints stars topping Arsene Wenger’s wishlist, according to the Daily Star.
We have long been linked with Southampton midfield general Morgan Schneiderlin, and reports from France suggest a deal has already been agreed.
This is the first we are hearing of any interest in Schneiderlin’s teammate Sadio Mane, however, who is also being touted to move this summer.
The Senegalese international only made the switch to St Mary’s this season, joining from Red Bull Salzburg for £10m. After a slow start to the campaign he has really begun to shine, though, and is already attracting interest from top European teams.

It’s difficult to see Wenger moving for Mane, especially as we are well stocked in wide players. Schneiderlin is a different story however, and if a deal really has already been reached, then it is certainly fantastic news.
Francis Coquelin has done a superb job in the holding midfield role since breaking into the team, but he needs help – and Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta just aren’t up to it anymore.
