With the international break over, it’s time to get our minds back on the Premier League. With a clash against Watford coming up this Saturday, we’re taking a look at the lineup we’re likely to see.
Our team more or less picks itself at the moment, but with injuries and fatigue concerns following the international break things might not be so straight forward.
Here is how we think Arsenal will line up against Watford:
GK) Petr Cech
With David Ospina showing questionable form this season, there really seems very little chance that Cech won’t be starting this weekend.
RB) Hector Bellerin

Arsene Wenger looks to have lost faith in Mathieu Debuchy, and the French right-back has seen his first team chances restricted due to the form of Bellerin. We see no reason for that to change against Watford.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Monreal has been one of the best full-backs in the league this season, and despite Kieran Gibbs impressing when given the chance, he hasn’t done enough to displace the Spaniard.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Laurent Koscielny is reportedly facing a late fitness test ahead of this weekend’s game (via IBT), although after being pictured in training he may get the nod. With Per Mertesacker a solid replacement however, Wenger may not see the point in risking the French centre-back.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
The Brazilian has really impressed this season, and although it’s unclear what Wenger thinks about his centre-back options, the fans certainly want to see Gabriel as first choice.
