Arsenal’s Premier League fixture list for the 2015/16 season has been announced and as ever, it’s time to dissect the key dates and what it could mean for our potential title challenge.
Regardless of the fixtures, it must firstly be stated that we have to start better than we did last season or risk losing out on a potentially exciting title race.
We won just two of our opening eight games last season and that is a record that cannot be repeated. Our first six fixtures this season are tough but winnable and hopefully the preparation in pre-season will allow us to be firing on all cylinders come August 8th.
Here are key dates and fixtures that could have a huge impact on our Premier League campaign.

We face Jose Mourinho’s side in the Community Shield before this fixture, but any potential victory at Wembley will likely be dismissed as a meaningless fixture. Therefore, in what will be our third London derby of the season in the first six fixtures, we must lay down a marker at Stamford Bridge.
A win would send out a huge statement, but a competitive performance is the order of the day and coming away with a result will be vital.
Hopefully, we’ll have Chelsea legend Petr Cech between our sticks too!
