Arsenal have reportedly reached a personal agreement with Barcelona superstar Alexis Sanchez, according to Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague.
The 25 year old Chile international is expected to leave the Camp Nou this summer as Barcelona prepare to spend a club-record fee to sign Luis Suarez.
The striker impressed at the World Cup, scoring twice and assisting once during Chile’s progression to the last 16, where they agonisingly lost on penalties to hosts Brazil.
Some reports yesterday claimed that Arsenal are prepared to bump his current £75,000 weekly wage up to £130,000 in an effort to clinch a deal, in addition to a lucrative signing on fee and will also offer the striker a six year deal at the Emirates.
This report has been backed by Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague, who believes that Arsenal have already agreed contractual terms with Sanchez, but have yet to agree a fee with Barcelona for the Chilean.
I heard Arsenal have a personal agreement with Alexis but offer less to FCB than Liverpool. Juve also interested.

As it stands Alexis not part of the deal for Suárez. But not definitive. Despite personal agreemnt with Arsenal, LFC hope to convince him

Sanchez has electric pace and an uncanny ability to retain the ball as he weaves between opposition defenders. He would give Arsenal the pace and energy going forward that they desperately missed last season. He normally plays on the right wing for Barcelona, but he can play as a centre-forward when needed and is capable of playing in virtually any attacking position.
He is simply an immensely gifted footballer and although he had a shaky first season at Camp Nou, he developed into one of the club’s best players in 2013/14 and with 21 goals and 15 assists to his name last season, he’d bring a major threat to any attack.
It’s a deal that would seem to make perfect sense, as the Gunners have been on the market for a new striker for the best part of two years now. It appears from above reports that Sanchez would prefer Arsenal over Liverpool and with the Gunners having plenty of cash in the bank, there isn’t any reason why Wenger shouldn’t do everything in his power to sign him. However transfers aren’t as straight forward as they appear.
