Considering how little he has played for the club in the last few years, few Arsenal players get as much media attention as Jack Wilshere does.
The midfielder was supposed to be the next big English player when he burst onto the scene several years ago but a run of serious injuries have put his career on hold.
After spending last season on-loan at AFC Bournemouth, the 25-year-old has slowly rebuilt his career at Arsenal this season with an impressive run of performances in cup competitions.

Wilshere’s current contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season but now, reports suggest that the Gunners are ready to offer the midfielder a new four-year deal.
This is something which Arsenal absolutely have to get done. Jack Wilshere has been excellent since returning from injury and if he continues at this rate then he will be a key player in the first-team Premier League squad. Let’s hope this can get tied up soon and Wilshere can get back into the starting lineup on a regular basis.
