Arsenal are reportedly ready to sell Gabriel this summer, with Valencia interested in bringing the Brazilian to the Mestalla.
According to The Sun, Arsenal want £10 million for the 26-year-old who is not in Arsene Wenger’s plans for next season.
The emergence of Rob Holding has seen Gabriel slip further down the pecking order at Arsenal, and the club will sell if a suitable offer is made.
Gabriel joined Arsenal from Villarreal in 2015 but has never really managed to force his way into the first team on a regular basis, and could now be set to return to La Liga.
Arsene Wenger has already admitted Arsenal will let some players go this summer as he seeks to trim a bloated squad and reduce the wage bill.
Fellow defender Calum Chambers, Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson are also believed to be surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

Standard Sport also report Valencia boss Marcelino was asked about his interest in bringing in a defender, with Gabriel, Jeison Murillo and Ivan Marcano all targets.
“We’re talking about important players who already know our league,” he said. “They speak Spanish, and that’s important, so their adaptation would be very quick.”
Gabriel is currently out injured with a knee problem, but when he returns faces a huge battle for minutes, and could well be tempted by a move away.
