Arsenal are set to renew their interest in Alvaro Morata this summer with Arsene Wenger still keen on signing the striker from Real Madrid, according to OK Diario.
The Spain international has frequently been linked with a move to Arsenal and returned to Real Madrid from Juventus last summer after the Spanish giants activated a buy-back clause in his contract.
There was speculation initially that los Blancos might loan Morata out, with Arsenal one of several clubs linked but the club ultimately decided to keep him at the Bernabeu.
Although Morata has struggled with injury at times this season, he has managed nine goals in all competitions for Real Madrid although he remains behind Karim Benzema in the pecking order.
However, Morata reportedly wants more game time and Arsenal are willing to offer him a regular place in the starting XI.
With the World Cup in 2018 looming ever closer, Morata is thought to be keen to play regularly in order to boost his chances of being a starter for Spain at the tournament.

Real Madrid are keen to keep Morata, and while the player is not desperate to leave, a decent offer from Arsenal, and the prospect of regular football could be enough to tempt him away.
With Real Madrid’s transfer ban having also been lifted, they will be allowed to buy players this summer, the Spanish giants may also be more amenable to allowing Morata to leave.
Wenger clearly seems to be a fan of Morata and while Arsenal are certainly not short of goalscorers, Morata would certainly provide another dimension, if he can be tempted away from Real Madrid
