According to Sport Witness, there is a report coming out of Turkey claiming that Galatasaray are set to make a move for Gervinho this summer.
The Ivorian has had a mixed time with the Gunners earning plaudits one match, then missing sitters the next, consequently he has slipped in the pecking order this season much to the pleasure of many Gooners.
But he has performed well with the Ivory Coast national team, which was what put him on the map to begin with and he does have the ability to beat players – however he does not have an Arsenal brain.
The story is from Turkish website Sabar who are part of one of Turkey’s largest media companies, and they are going as far as claiming talks have taken place already between the forward and Turkish superclub.
Galatasaray have signed two big stars in Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder, and there will be plenty of room for Gervinho among their ranks who would be eager for more regular gametime especially if Wenger feels the need to sell him this summer.

While the report seems pretty false it brings to light that there may be options out there for Arsenal to sell a player that still has a decent market value but is not cutout for the Gunners. It would be nice if a player was sold this summer that we didn’t actually want for once..
