Lille boss Frederic Paquet has rejected suggestions Arsenal have lined up Eden Hazard as a direct replacement for outgoing midfielder Samir Nasri.
Wenger insists he will not panic buy, but is thought to be a keen admirer of Belgian playmaker Hazard, and he was rumoured to be number one on Wenger’s list to replace keymen Nasri and Fabregas
The 20-year-old has been rumoured for a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs for some time, but Lille’s general manager insists he will not leave in this transfer window.
“Eden will not be leaving this season,” said Paquet.
“We are aware of interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe but we are not prepared to sell.
“He is very happy here; he understands our project and wants to stay for at least another year.”

This is very disappointing news for Gunners fans as Hazard seemed like a key replacement that we really need, perhaps Wenger may turn his head towards M’ Villa, however he may not add the required creativeness that Arsenal need that Hazard could of produced. He is running out of time, who will Wenger get then? Any suggestions? Comment below…
