He just can’t help himself can he? Not only did the ‘best striker in the world’ blast Wenger and Arsenal’s management for their lack of faith after he was loaned out, Nicklas Bendtner has added further fuel to the fire by suggesting he could leave the Gunners permanently to their arch rivals Tottenham.
The Danish international is on his second consecutive season-long loan after failing to be part of Wenger’s plans during the 2010/2011 season, and has struggle to make an impression with defending Serie A champions Juventus.
The 24-year-old has been known for his laughable arrogance which has entertained Gooners for several years now, and will look to get off the Emirate books at the Emirates this summer. He has admitted he may be interested in a move to the Spuds if something eventuates regardless of the fierce rivalry between the clubs.
Bendtner told Danish website bold.dk:
History is filled with examples of players moving between rival clubs and I can’t rule out clubs due to where I might have been in the past.
It might not be the best idea but if the project matches my ambitions I would have to be interested.

I still have a great relationship with London, which is a city that I adore.
I have a lot of friends in London and there are a lot of great clubs in London, so I wouldn’t rule out a return.
If he does return to London it will be to a relegated QPR side. Although he seems to perform well on the international stage he has struggled and will struggle to have any real impression on the Premier League especially in a side competing for a Champions League spot.
If he went to the Spuds he would fit the bill quite well as a traitor. He has little fans left at Arsenal and he can then strike up another best-friendship with Adebayor, just like old times!
But in all seriousness Wenger needs to unload Bendtner this summer with his contract set to expire in 2014, it seems they have been holding out for an unreasonable sum that will have to be severely lowered especially with the Dane struggling to find his way into the Juventus side – he managed to appear for a mere 6 minutes over the weekend.
What do you think about Bendtner being offloaded to the Spuds? Personally it wouldn’t be the end of the world, as long as Wenger gets a decent price, he may out to be our biggest ally in a North London derby in the future as he really knows how to fluff his lines on the occasion.
