Galatasaray have confirmed they are in negotiations over the signing of Emmanuel Eboue.
The Ivory Coast international has been a first-team regular, but the past two seasons has seen him relegated solely to the bench and making a few rare starts. Wenger has not allocated Eboue an Arsenal team number, so the situation couldn’t be more dire for the Ivorian.
A Galatasaray club statement read:
“Galatasaray has begun negotiations with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Ivorian-Belgian professional football player Emmanuel Eboue. The public will be updated about the developments.”
Once again another departure of a first-team player is imminent, and I doubt Wenger will look to bring in a replacement as young Carl Jenkinson seems like Sagna’s back up. We will keep you updated as the situation unfolds in the next couple of days.
