According to the Daily Mail the Gunners are one of three Premier League clubs tracking Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.
Arsenal are in the hunt for at least two new centre forwards with the inevitable departures of Nicklas Bendtner, Maroune Chamakh and possibly even Carlos Vela and Chu Young Park this summer. Manchester City and Chelsea are also monitoring the Poland international, but if Arsenal move quick enough they could possibly land the hitman for around the £12-£15m mark.
The 23-year-old has been in sensational form this season netting an impressive 20 goals which has helped Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga title. Lewandowski is believed to be refusing a contract extension until after Euro 2012 as the competition could help launch him to new levels if he performs well as he enters his second to last year of his contract.
He could potentially be a decent signing by Wenger as he has experience at the top level and will add real depth to the attacking lineup without breaking the bank. Podolski looks a done deal, so if he is joined by a fellow Bundesliga striker Arsenals striking department will be feared by all in England and they can then have a real crack at the league title next season.

Lewandowski could well be joining ex team mate Thomas Eisfeld who switched Germany for England in January, and this hopefully may entice future Gunner Mario Gotze to head to the Emirates in a few years who can finally be a like-for-like replacement for Cesc Fabregas which we have thoroughly missed this season.
What do you guys think, should Wenger buy the Poland international this summer? Three top class, proven strikers sounds pretty good to me – RVP, Podolski & Lewandowski. That’s an attacking trio to fear..
