According to The Daily Mail, Inter Milan are ready to test the Arsenal’s waters with a mediocre bid of £17.5 million for creative midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sport reported that Inter could make a move for the Welsh international midfielder in January, and the Italian outfit could offer Ricardo Alvarez too as a sweetener.
The Argentinian playmaker was a reported target for Wenger before he opted to join Inter in a £10.25m deal during the summer, however it hasn’t worked out at the Nerazzurri consequently only appearing on three occasions.
Ramsey, 20, only joined Arsenal in 2008 for £4.8m from Cardiff, and after the horrific leg break in 2009 he is finally getting back to his best. Although he suffered lapses of form since becoming a regular starter this season after the departure of Cesc Fabregas, he has shown his quality in the past two matches and there will be much more to come from the Welsh captain. Wenger won’t sell Ramsey, no question.
