Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has quashed rumours that Stevan Jovetic could leave in the summer, insisting the striker “is not on the market”. The club’s sporting director has ruled out selling the in-demand forward while commenting on reports linking Viola with several possible recruits.
Jovetic who is just 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal next season, although Juventus and Manchester City have also reportedly expressed interest in his signature.
Although Fiorentina confirmed last week that Jovetic “wants a new experience” and claimed they would not stand in the way of a move, the club have changed their stance on the Montenegro international.
According to Goal the Sporting Director said:
We have been clear about Jovetic. He is not on the market.
There is a word given to the boy by the president: at the end of the season they would talk together, but those are the conditions, otherwise we keep him happy.
There has been no bid [from Juventus], only a meeting between the president and the agent Cognigni Ramadani. Jovetic did not say he would move. It is a discussion between him and the president.
Prade also revealed that Fiorentina have not received a bid from Juventus for the player, while Jovetic has also told the club he has no intentions of leaving.

I don’t think they will resist from selling him instead they are just trying to get the maximum value for their prized asset. I think a bid in excess of £25 million will be enough to lure them into selling. So he will definitely be sold if the price is right and with Juventus backing out Arsenal are now favourites to land Jovetic.
Jovetic would be perfect for Arsenal’s style of play. He would provide a big threat on the counter-attack and can play across the front line, cutting in from the wing, leading the line or behind the central striker. His goal ratio this season is an impressive 12 goals from 25 Serie A games though that only tells half the story as Jovetic is a great team-player too.
Jovetic is a clinical finisher, he can score goals from anywhere in the box, that makes him a good striker. He has excellent vision and he can beat his surrounding defenders easily with his instant acceleration. His positioning is very good especially when his team is attacking
