Many would agree the Moroccan has certainly hit a low point in his Arsenal career and surely with a bid of this magnitude the gunners would find it too tempting to resist.
It is a shame for the for Bordeaux man who hit the ground running when he moved to the Emirates scoring goals and playing an integral role in the team.
But it is a different story now as the striker plays in the shadow of Robin van Persie and often looks shot of confidence and woefully out of form when he gets he gets the call-up from Arsene Wenger.
As for the rumour, you never know what will happen with these big spending clubs. You only have to look at the price Liverpool paid for Andy Carroll to see how ridiculous some price tags are getting. If indeed this rumour is true would you sell the Moroccan? Or do you still think he has a part to play at the Emirates? I know what I would take…
