Arsenal fans once again displayed their power on social media after we scooped a number of awards in the inaugural Facebook Football Awards in association with BT Sport, the Daily Mail reports.
Alexis Sanchez was named the Player of the Year, while Arsene Wenger took home the Manager of the Year award, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ian Wright presenting the respective trophies.
In addition to that double, we won the Premier League Club of the Year award with over a million votes – the influence of Arsenal fans on Facebook has been displayed once again.

Much had been made of Jack Wilshere winning Match of the Day’s goal of the season award for the second year running after the voting opened up to fans on Twitter (via The Independent).
Out of the three awards, few can deny that Alexis winning his award ahead of the likes of Eden Hazard and David de Gea was deserved given his amazing campaign. The Chilean has netted 24 goals in all competitions this season, including the double against Reading which guided us to the FA Cup final.
Individual honours are always nice, but Alexis would most likely swap his individual gongs for a Premier League winners medal, which will be our aim next season.
