David Ospina will face a late fitness test ahead of our Champions League clash with AS Monaco, with the Colombian suffering a back injury during our 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, as reported by Eurosport.
The 26-year-old has usurped Wojciech Szczesny as the Arsenal No.1, with his Polish teammate finding himself out in the cold following a string of disappointing performances.
Szczesny may find himself back in contention for a starting spot however, and a good display against Monaco this Wednesday could cement his place as our starting shot-stopper once again.
Ospina has been solid since his introduction to the side, and his stats make for superb reading. He has not been infallible however, and if this injury keeps him out for any length of time then he could find himself back on the bench.

The moment he injured himself in the game at Selhurst Park just shows that he has a mistake in his game, with the summer signing racing needlessly off his line and colliding with Per Mertesacker as he made a hash of the clearance.
He is expected to be passed fit for our Champions League last 16 clash, but if there is any doubt in Arsene Wenger’s mind then he would surely prefer not risk the former Ligue 1 star.
