The teen sensation has earned rave reviews since rising through the ranks at Arsenal, and has looked on the verge of breaking into the first team on regular occasions. He has made a handful of appearances for the senior side, but so far he has been restricted to Capital One Cup and meaningless European fixtures.
At just 18-years-old Zelalem is yet to earn a full cap for Germany, and could still switch allegiances to the USA or Ethiopia if he chooses. He would obviously have a far better chance of first team football with USA or Ethiopia, but if he reaches the lofty heights expected of him then he should have no problem breaking into the Germany squad.
