The PFA Player of the Year nominees have been announced, and Alexis Sanchez is among those on the list, as reported on the PFA’s official website.
Our £35m summer signing has been in excellent form this season, and with 14 goals and 8 assists in the Premier League so far he has really hit the ground running since joining the Premier League.
The Chilean seems perfectly suited for the fast paced hustle and bustle of the English top flight, and his work-rate and seemingly endless energy reserves have ensured his success at the Emirates.
He was influential during our early season struggles, and kept us competitive when the rest of the team were underperforming. He went through a difficult patch at the start of 2015, and seemed to be having trouble dealing with the hectic schedule of the Premier League.

The 26-year-old looks to be back to his best however – marked by his fantastic goal against Liverpool during our 4-1 win – and deserves his place among the the Player of the Year nominees.
He has been named alongside Manchester United’s David de Gea, Liverpool’s Coutinho, Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and Chelsea pair Diego Costa and Eden Hazard.
