Joel Campbell looks to be on his way out of the club this summer, with Super Lig side Fenerbahce a likely destination, according to our friends at Turkish Football.
The young Costa Rican enjoyed a superb World Cup in Brazil, and there were hopes that he would succeed at Arsenal. He struggled during the first half of the season however, and was consequently farmed out on loan to Spanish side Villarreal.
A report from Turkish news outlet Milliyet suggests he has now agreed a deal-in-principle to join Fenerbahce, and claims all that remains is to sort a transfer fee. We are holding out for €10m (via Milliyet), although the Turkish side are hoping to get him for less.
They are not the only club interested in Campbell however, with Real Sociedad (via ESPN) and David Moyes looking to bring him back to La Liga permanently.
He signed a new contact just before leaving on loan (via the Metro), a move which it seems now was merely a way for Arsene Wenger to secure a higher fee for him.
