Arsenal star Olivier Giroud has refused to reveal any specific tactics he uses against Newcastle United given that his record against the Magpies is rather impressive, Arsenal Player reports.
Giroud has scored eight times against Newcastle United, including four goals in the two meetings against them in the Premier League last season.
In fact, our record against them has been rather solid in recent years with the results going in our favour in each of our last six meetings.
We would have to go back to the opening game of the 2011/12 season for the last time Newcastle United took points off us.

“For me it will be a bit special, but the main thing is to return to London with the three points,” Giroud was quoted as saying when asked about his record against Newcastle.

“I am not going to say [why I do well against Newcastle] because then there are no more secrets – I need to keep them for me! It is maybe luck or I don’t know, but I really want to keep scoring against them and help the team win the three points.”
If Giroud ever needed his record against Newcastle United to aid him, then Saturday’s fixture will be vital with the calls to replace him growing louder each passing week.
As the transfer window enters its final few days, Wenger will hopefully add another striker to aid Giroud. If that doesn’t happen, one can expect fans to get on the Frenchman’s back throughout the season.
