Wojciech Szczesny has struggled at Arsenal recently, and has found his starting spot usurped by summer signing David Ospina. It’s only going to get worse for him too, with the Polish shot-stopper set to be dropped by his national side, according to the Daily Mail.
His place with Poland is under threat, with Southampton loanee Artur Boruc apparently set to take his spot.
International boss Adam Nawalka was in England to watch Boruc play, with the Saints shot-stopper currently on loan with Bournemouth in the Championship.
If Szczesny isn’t getting game time then he is unlikely to keep his spot with Poland, regardless of the competition. Ospina hasn’t looked unflappable though, and is yet to impress enough to suggest he is the undisputed No.1 at Arsenal.

Our Pole formerly in the goal certainly has a lot to do if he wants to regain not only his spot, but the manager’s trust as well. He definitely has every chance however, and Ospina needs to improve if he wants to keep hold of the jersey.
