The tricky winger was snapped in training with the rest of the squad a matter of days ago, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be linking up with his teammates for much longer.
The 22-year-old enjoyed mixed success while on loan at clubs like Almeria, Levante, and Murcia, but he is yet to show anything that suggests he’s ready for first-team action with Arsenal. You might argue that if he was going to prove that he has what it takes to succeed at the club, that he would have done so already. It wouldn’t be a big surprise to see him leave the club this summer, despite recent talks of a contract extension ESPN.
