Mesut Özil and Hector Bellerin took to Twitter after our clash with Leicester City this past Saturday afternoon, with the Arsenal duo giving their thoughts on the victory.
We haven’t been at our goalscoring best this season, but that certainly looks to have changed following our 5-2 win over the Foxes.
Alexis Sanchez not only bagged his first goal of the season, but lead the scoring with a hatrick. Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud grabbed the other two Arsenal goals, with Jamie Vardy scoring both of Leicester’s.
Özil revealed all three ingredients for a perfect Saturday, an away win, climbing the table, and his trademark YaGunnersYa hashtag to complete the trio.
Winning away from home () Moving up towards the top of the table again () #YaGunnersYa () A truly perfect Saturday!

Bellerin meanwhile uploaded a picture of himself embracing Alexis Sanchez following one of his three goals, and sent a message to his Chilean teammate.
Great spirit to come back from a goal behind. Buzzing for the hat-trick hero @Alexis_Sanchez! #COYG pic.twitter.com/ih5tjfijyc

Hopefully we can carry this impetus into next week’s Champions League game, and really get our season on track. We can’t afford to lose after our poor performance against Dinamo Zagreb, so this game could be crucial to our European hopes this campaign.
