We have been linked with a number of top talents ahead of this summer’s transfer window opening, with Arsene Wenger promising world class additions, according to the Metro.
While who we will eventually sign is likely to remain a closely guarded secret for some time to come, we can at least look at how some of the potential new arrivals would fit into our current side.
Here is an Arsenal match day squad featuring potential summer signings from around the world:

David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny have shown their quality at times, but the Blues shot-stopper is unquestionably an upgrade.
We have been linked with a £10m move for the Czech keeper, and he should be a priority for us this summer.
RB) Hector Bellerin
The Spaniard has looked superb this season, and has really softened the blow of Mathieu Debuchy’s injury plagued first season (via the Daily Mail).
He has shown his inexperience at times, and isn’t necessarily our undisputed first choice just yet, but he will hopefully be even better next year.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Bellerin’s compatriot has not always been a fan favourite, and his performances in seasons gone by have deservedly seen him criticised. He has been fantastic this campaign though, and has displaced Kieran Gibbs from the starting XI.
We could certainly still improve at left-back, but we currently have two decent options at our disposal.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
Hands down our best defender, the Frenchman makes us a far better side. We miss him badly when he’s unavailable, and he has quickly become one of the best defenders in the English top flight.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
It’s unclear whether Gabriel and Koscielny can play together yet, and Per Mertesacker may keep his place next season. But the Brazilian has looked good in the few opportunities he’s been given, and may find them increased next season
