Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has urged his team-mates to believe ahead of the Champions League clash against Monaco on Tuesday night as we aim to make history in Europe’s premier club competition.
No team has ever overturned such a deficit away from home at this stage, but Ozil has promised that the team will battle in every second of the game in order to make it a memorable night.
Goals will be the key and scoring a minimum of three goals is what is required, so it will be interesting to Arsene Wenger’s lineup and whether or not he chooses to go gung-ho from the first minute. Ozil certainly favour s a different approach.

“It’s very important to score early, but we will remain patient,” the German told Arsenal.com.
“We want to fight and battle from the first minute until the last. This is a match that we are determined to win. We have to score three goals and our aim is to do just that while remaining tight in defence.

“We have to believe in yourselves. When you believe in yourselves, a positive energy grows that you can achieve your aims. In football, things that may look unlikely can happen.”
Ozil enjoyed a delightful display on Saturday as he and Aaron Ramsey linked up to rekindle the relationship which had us topping the table for the majority of the season last year.
We will certainly need our record signing at his most devastating form if we are to stand any chance of overturning the result in Monaco.
