We have been linked with a move for the midfielder on a number of occasions since he joined the Bundesliga side, but the club’s high asking price combined with unfortunately timed injuries meant a deal was never completed.
The 26-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola confirmed his desire to leave the club however, speaking to German publication Bild on the matter.
“Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season,” he said.
“We will have to wait and see what we can do.”
The Armenian is not really the kind of player we need at the moment, as we are already fully stocked with attacking midfielders. And it’s difficult to see Arsene Wenger taking a risk on him, especially as his form of late has been so poor.

We may not be interested in him, but with Dortmund struggling so badly this season they are likely to see a host of players departing cheaply this summer; Mkhitaryan just the first of many.
