Arsenal have handed Arsene Wenger a huge £165 million transfer kitty for this summer and want the Frenchman to blow the lot, according to The Sun.
The report claims Arsenal are desperate to mount a genuine title challenge next season and are ready to seriously strengthen their squad in a bid to land the title.
Arsenal have already reportedly had a massive offer for Kylian Mbappe rejected with speculation yesterday claiming they will return with a new £95m offer for the teenager.
Wenger has admitted he wants to bring in two or three players this summer and has also been heavily linked with Riyad Mahrez and Barcelona’s Arda Turan.
Both players look attainable with Mahrez having already admitted he wants out of the King Power while Arda seems surplus to requirements at Camp Nou with Barca also expected to recruit this summer.
Wenger claimed on several occasions last season he feels the club could seriously challenge with the addition of a couple of top signings, provided Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez stay.

The arrival of some big-names and also the club’s willingness to show ambition could also prove crucial to keeping the pair with Sanchez in particularly continually linked with an exit and with Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich all believed to be interested.
Signing Mbappe in particular would be a huge statement of intent, particularly with a host of top clubs also interested in the teenager, and it certainly promises to be a very interesting summer on the transfer front.
