Arsenal will announce another promising young signing today, with Nigeria Under-17 star Kelechi Nwakali set to sign his first professional contract with the Gunners today (via Africa Football).
The north London side have so far announced just one high profile signing in Granit Xhaka, however that has been supplemented with a series of investments in youth players such as Japan striker Takuma Asano and former Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding.
Nwakali looks destined to be Arsenal’s latest young signing, having been hotly linked with the club since the turn of the year and now is 18 meaning he can sign professional terms with the club.
The report suggests Nwakali is in London and will sign with the Gunners by 3pm this afternoon after apparently agreeing a pre-contract in January.
The midfielder is likely to be set out on loan with a work permit unlikely at this stage.
