Arsenal trio Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Calum Chambers took to their respective social media accounts to signal their intentions to compete against Stoke City and kick-off our home record.
We are yet to score a goal at home this season and the clash against Stoke City will represent a good opportunity for us to turn that around given our record at the Emirates Stadium against Mark Hughes’s side.
Since Aaron Ramsey’s leg break, this fixture has arguably become our most intense rivalry after the north London derby considering the bad blood between the two clubs.
While we traditionally struggle at the Britannia Stadium, our home from against The Potters is nigh on perfect and we really need to maintain that record.
Arsenal news & rumours
Ozil will most likely return to the starting XI after missing the game at Newcastle United before the international break with a knee injury.
- Arsenal must outmanoeuvre Galatasaray to win race for £2m ‘bargain’ transfer
- Arsenal reportedly set to sign free agent after impressive trial
- Arsenal have ‘concrete interest’ in signing Bayern Munich II star
It will be interesting to see which forward line Wenger chooses to start given that we’ll now have to go with our current options this season – or at least until January.
