We’re coming up against Premier League opposition in the final of the Barclays Asia trophy, with our win against Singapore select XI seeing us pitted against Everton.
It’s always difficult to predict who will start in a pre-season game, as the managers have more of a license to experiment and try new tactics. These games are also normally far more about fitness than anything else, and while both teams will be looking to win, the match will be more about preparing for the 2015/16 campaign.
While we can’t tell you for sure who will start though, we can tell you who definitely won’t be taking to the field.
Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky are currently the only two players officially out injured (via Arsenal.com), and neither have travelled for the Asia tour.
Club captain Mikel Arteta also looks to have suffered an injury though (via the Express), and has been ruled out with a recurrence of the calf-injury that kept him out for much of last season.
