The Arsenal teamsheet has been announced ahead of Liverpool’s trip to the Emirates, and there are two massive changes from the team that played Crystal Palace.
The lineup is fairly similar from our last game, but questions will be asked of our defence. Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker have both been dropped from the squad completely, with Gabriel Paulista and Calum Chambers coming in.
The rest of the team is unchanged, as can be seen below:

The official Arsenal Twitter account gave an update on the status of both players – with Mertesacker absent through illness and Koscielny out with a back injury.
This could be a massive blow, as defensive stability is often key against the bigger teams. Mertesacker and Koscielny have formed an excellent partnership over the years, and they may be badly missed tonight.

Aaron Ramsey keeps his place in the side, despite calls for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Theo Walcott to inject some pace on the wings. The Welshman more often than not drifts inside and clogs the midfield, so we’ll have to utilise quick passing and a high tempo to get the better of Brendan Rodgers’ side.
