Arsenal take on Stoke City this afternoon looking for our first home win of the season and Arsene Wenger has sprung a few tactical surprises in terms of our starting XI.
Olivier Giroud’s spell on the bench continues with Theo Walcott preferred as a central striker by Wenger with Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey chosen to partner him in our front three.
Per Mertesacker has seemingly failed to recover from the cold he’s been suffering from and the German doesn’t make the squad, with Gabriel continuing his partnership with Laurent Koscielny at the heart of our defence.

It will be interesting to see who starts as our focal point with fans hoping to see Alexis Sanchez given a run through the middle given that he was our most prolific goalscorer last season.
We have failed to score in five of our last six home games and hopefully we can turn that statistic around against Stoke City.
