We are allegedly close to making a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, with the Spaniard weighing up his options ahead of the summer transfer window, as reported by the Metro, originally from Spanish website COPE.
Arsene Wenger is known to be a fan of the 23-year-old, and may finally be ready to act on his interest come the end of the season.
The Metro reports that Isco is unhappy at his bit part role at the Santiago Bernabeu, and is considering a move to secure more regular first team football.
We are well stocked with attacking midfielders at the moment, so it’s hard to see us breaking the bank to bring him to the Emirates. With the La Liga outfit splashing £32.5m to bring him to Madrid though, he is unlikely to come cheaply.
Santi Cazorla has been linked with a move away from the Emirates (via the Metro), and although Wenger has rubbished the rumours, the Frenchman may be preparing for when the Spaniard does eventually leave.

He is certainly a quality player, and would be an excellent addition to the squad. It’s hard to see where he would fit in at the moment however, and there are certainly other areas that require reinforcements far more.
