Arsenal want a transfer fee of close to £50 million for Alexis Sanchez should the club opt to sell him at the end of the season, according to Standard Sport.
The Chile international will have just a year remaining on his current deal this summer and has so far failed to agree an extension.
Arsene Wenger admitted prior to the international break that the club will now wait until the end of the season for further talks with Sanchez after failing to find an agreement.
The 28-year-old is Arsenal’s top scorer this season with 22 goals in all competitions but has appeared frustrated in recent weeks as the Gunners have endured an awful run of form.
Wenger has previously insisted that only the club will decide Sanchez’s future although there is a growing sense that he will opt to leave after three years in north London.
Arsenal have reportedly already starting making plans for life without Sanchez with Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette and Marco Reus all believed to be potential targets.

Meanwhile, reports today have hinted that Bayern Munich could be keen on the Chilean with Carlo Ancelotti keen to strengthen his side.
If Arsenal are forced to sell Sanchez they would certainly prefer to sell him abroad rather than to a direct Premier League rival and at £50m would stand to make a profit on the player who signed from Barcelona for £35m in 2014.
Sanchez’s form again this season will ensure he will be in-demand this summer which could drive up his price although Arsenal’s position will be weakened by the fact he will have just a year remaining on his contract.
