The report claims that Roberto Mancini’s Inter side have made a direct enquiry for the player rated at £25m by his club, but that we’re also monitoring the situation closely.
Kondogbia is terrifically talented, and he proved as much during our two-legged Champions League defeat to Monaco in February…

The midfielder was physical, disciplined and worked ferociously – and based on those performances alone – he’ll seriously add something to our squad. He’s not exactly a natural anchorman though, so we’re not sure he’s exactly what we need, although his potential signing is still pretty exciting.
Kondogbia has three caps for his country, and has turned out 49 times in the French top flight for Monaco. At 6 ft. 2′, he’s a real physical specimen, and despite his marauding midfield tendencies, we’d still be delighted to see him sign.
