Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged the club to rectfiy an internal problem at the club if we’re to finally challenge for the Premier League title, The Evening Standard.
Wright continued to emphasise the need for a “winning mentality” at the club and for the players to realise that despite their cup success, winning the Premier League must be the aim.
Our second highest ever goalscorer was part of the squad that clinched the double in Arsene Wenger’s first season in charge so has a clear idea as to what is required in order to reign supreme.
Wright has called for players possessing a winning mentality to be brought in rather than ones with huge price-tags.
“I think everyone in the Premier League are far away from Chelsea,” Wright was quoted as saying.

“When Arsenal get things right on the day they hammer teams.
“They need to fit players in with a winning mentality. It’s the Premier League they have to be going for.”
There seems to have been a shift of mentality in the right direction with most of the squad immediately focusing on next season after the final on Saturday.
You can sense that the players believe we’re on the cusp of something special but the targets must be set higher. With a solid pre-season and a solid start to the Premier League campaign, we can hopefully lay the foundations for a sustained title challenge.
