Arsenal have announced their 25 man squad for the Premier League season with the Gunners using up 15 of their allocated 17 foreign players.
A club can name as many U21s as they like which will not affect the 25 man squad amount. While the 17 foreign player limit allows for Home Grown Players to make up the remainder of the squad, and Arsenal are well stocked with these now.
To qualify as a Home Grown Player, they must have been registered with the UK FA for at least three seasons before their 21st birthday.
There is still room for free agent signings and emergency loans, however there can be no more changed until the transfer window reopens in January next year.

The only real ‘surprise’ in the 25 man squad is Francis Coquelin who struggled to find a move away from the club but is classified as a Home Grown Player. Not to mention Walcott’s second middle name – ‘Yes’. Learn something new everyday!
