Afobe has been in inspired form over the past 18 months, with his reputation in the football league starting at MK Dons, where he was on loan for the first-half of last season.
However, in January, Afobe completed a permanent move to Wolves and continued his sensational goalscoring form. By the end of the campaign, he netted 32 times in all competitions, more than any other play in England’s top four divisions.
According to the report, this is Norwich City’s third offer for Afobe and it is clear why they want to bring him in with goals key to any team’s survival.

Having said that, it seems that Wolves are in a very healthy financial position if, indeed, they’ve rejected the offer, and are determined to hold onto their prized asset. Also, should they keep him, the West Midlands side are one of the favourites to get promoted to the Premier League come May.
