Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina’s departure looks to be imminent after reports claimed that we’ve agreed a €5million fee with Fenerbahce, Fanatik reports.
With the signing of Petr Cech set to be announced imminently, as the report suggests, Ospina looks set to make way with a deal deemed a formality, according to Fanatik.
Ospina displaced Szczesny as our first choice goalkeeper in the second half of last season, stabilising a previously erratic back line.

However, as fans have constantly called for Arsene Wenger to display ruthlessness in the transfer market, it seems as though the boss has done exactly that.
If a player of Cech’s ability becomes available, it became compulsory on our hierarchy to make a move considering that he’s a huge upgrade on our current options.

It is therefore rather admirable that Ospina wants to remain a first choice goalkeeper having tasted the experience with us and is prepared to seek a new challenge to fulfil his ambitions.
Good luck, Ospina!
