Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina looks set to leave the club this summer following the imminent arrival of Petr Cech with reports suggesting that a move to Marseille could be in the offing, according to the Mirror.
Ospina enjoyed a solid second half of the campaign after displacing Wojciech Szczesny as our first choice goalkeeper, calming a previously erratic back four.
However, with Cech’s arrival drawing near, as the Mirror reports, Ospina appears to be the fall guy as he seeks first team opportunities elsewhere.
Arsenal transfer news
As harsh as it may seem, the ruthlessness shown in this situation by Arsene Wenger is exactly what we’ve been missing as a club in recent years.
On far too many occasions has the boss’ loyalty to players gone to extreme lengths despite their obvious lack of qualities, often preventing us from making moves in the transfer market to replace them.

Times have clearly changed at the club with Wenger now able to attract top class players and he is invariably sending a message to the rest of our squad.
Competition for places is always an important ingredient in any title-winning squad, a reality our first team stars must get used to as Wenger looks to bring world-class talent to our club.
