The Champions League group stage draw has thrown up some familiar match-ups for us as we join Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Dinamo Zagreb in Group F.
Given that we’ve played each team at least twice in the past, we’ve decided to examine our record against our future opponents.

We faced the Croatian side in the play-off round of the Champions League in 2006 and beat them home and away to book our place in the group stages. A Cesc Fabregas double inspired a 3-0 victory in Zagreb with a 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium finishing off the job.
Ironically, the only goal we conceded in the tie came through a man called Eduardo da Silva. He signed for us 12 months later.
