Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has given the clearest indication yet that his compatriot Petr Cech wants to join us from Chelsea this summer but refused to elaborate on the situation, The Guardian reports.
We have been strongly linked with a move for Cech over the past few weeks and reports emerged on Monday that the 33-year-old will likely end up at our club, according to Kike Marin from El Confidencial.

Cech was always set to depart Stamford Bridge this summer with the return of Thibaut Courtois ousting him from his position between the sticks.
Rosicky is currently accompanying Cech on international duty and was rather cryptic regarding the whole situation.

“I know about some things from both sides, but I will not interfere,” Rosicky was quoted as saying.
“It could even turn against me. Both sides know what they are doing. Arsenal is a top world team. Players want to be transferred there [Arsenal], that is nothing new, it is a fantastic club.”
Rosicky himself recently extended his contract after the club decided to exercise the one-year option in his contract (via The Independent) which would mean that Cech will have a friendly face to gel with should he arrived.
Signing Cech would arguably exceed the arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in terms of the magnitude behind the statement we’d be sending to rivals.
A top goalkeeper is imperative for any sustained title challenge and Cech is exactly that – and then some!
